Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Asheville, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (828) 258-6969. Asheville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Asheville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our company recently ordered from Asian Wok, and the experience was absolutely outstanding! The service was exceptional from start to finish. Every staff member greeted me with a smile and provided incredible hospitality, even while preparing food for a group of 20 people. The food was phenomenal. The lo mein was a huge hit, and everyone couldn't stop talking about how delicious the chicken dishes were. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It's not often that you find a restaurant that delivers both amazing food and outstanding customer service, but Asian Wok exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely be using them for our company parties and events for the rest of the year, and we can't wait to order again. Thank you, Asian Wok, for your amazing hospitality and for making our event such a success!

I have been to Asian Wok for takeout dinner a couple of times and so far everything has been quick and tasty until this most recent visit today. I had gotten the Special Dish B which included broccoli, sesame chicken, fried rice, and noodles. Everything tasted fine but after taking a closer look at the broccoli, I noticed a dead worm inside of it 🀒 I understand this is a cheap Chinese food establishment but come on, we should be washing our produce!

The positive is that the food was fast. Down side: it’s gross! It is greasy rice, C grade chicken, and not β€œfried rice.” It is top 3 worst dishes I’ve ever gotten from an Asian restaurant.

Give a general amount of food. I spent $30 on me and my boyfriend just to receive not only a burnt egg roll but also from stringy chicken that I ended up giving to my dogs. I got the sesame seed chicken. Maybe I should have read the comment about the sesame chicken before I purchase it. I'll get this Asian store one more chance but I'm never spending over $20 ever again. But the service is fast and they are friendly on the phone.

Finally. A solid place to get Chinese food and the prices are stellar. They've got a million cheap lunch and dinner combos, but take a few minutes to go through the menu, there's some gems in there. This place is fully takeout, so order in advance online or expect to wait in the bare-bones "lobby". tldr The flavors are rich The portions are generous The food is well made The fry oil tasted fresh The coating on the sweet and sour pork was perfect - light and crispy and still crispy the next day after sitting overnight in the fridge. So tasty I ate it cold with the sweet and sour sauce slightly warmed. 5/5 The pork in the lo-mein wasn't my favorite but the richness of the sauce and the texture of the noodles more than made up for it. 4/5 The pork egg roll had a great crisp. It was a little small for $2, but the filling was tasty. 5/5 The egg foo yong was a bit overcooked but the interior was flavorful and the gravy was better than any I've had before. I loved that it wasn't thick like a brown American gravy and was more like an au-jus viscosity. 5/5
